Before your Appointment:

  • Both our doctors are accepting new patients. You can call the office or use our online scheduler to find an appointment time that works for you. If you are new to our office please schedule a “New Patient” appointment as your first visit requires additional time.

Intake forms will automatically be sent to your email if you use the online scheduler. We also have a paper version that can be completed in person if you arrive a few minutes early for your appointment.

Our pre scheduled patients will be prioritized, but we do accept walk-ins once you are established with our practice.

  • Our office is only in-network with Medicare and Wisconsin Medicaid (Forward Health). We choose to limit our in-network participation in order to keep our prices affordable and to prevent insurance companies from restricting our patient’s care. Even though we are not in-network with any commercial insurance plans, some plans do cover out of network services. Since every plan is different, we would be happy to check your benefits if you provide us with your insurance information.

We strive to keep our prices affordable and transparent. If you call and provide us with some additional details, we can provide you with pricing information.

  • We accept all forms of payment including HSA/FSA cards.

Many of our patients enjoy our electronic payment system. Our software is able to securely store credit card information to make your appointments extra convenient.

What to expect at your first appointment:

  • For infants and younger children, the first appointment will begin with collecting any additional health history information relevant to your child’s care. Our doctors will also answer any questions you may have before beginning care.

We do not typically x-ray younger children before the adjustment.

Infant adjustments are very gentle and specialized to their developing spine and nervous system. Some infants feel more comfortable/ relaxed laying on their parent or caregiver’s chest during the adjustment.

  • Pregnant patients will NOT receive x-rays in our office.

Your first appointment will proceed with some additional health history questions about yourself and your pregnancy. Our doctors will answer answer any questions you may have before beginning care.

Our tables are designed to accommodate the changes of your body, to make adjustments in later pregnancy safe and comfortable.

  • Adults, teens, and older children will start with x-rays of their full spine. Our digital x-rays limit radiation exposure while providing a wealth of clinical information to provide you with the best informed care.

Our doctors will review the x-rays with you and determine the best course of action.

The adjustment:

Every body is different, so each adjustment is tailored to your individuals needs. Our doctors are skilled in a variety of techniques to ensure everyone receives care that is not only effective, but also safe. Your comfort is important to us, techniques can be changed according to your preferences.

The goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to correct subluxation (misalignment), improve mobility, restore proper function, and relieve pain. During the adjustment, the chiropractor uses their hands or tools to apply a controlled force to specific joints, helping to increase movement, reduce nerve irritation, and enhance the body's healing ability. Adjustments may be accompanied by a cavitation (popping sound), but it is not necessary for an adjustment to be effective.

Age, occupation, life style, and individual health history are all factors that can determine how effective chiropractic will be in meeting your specific goals. Our doctors will take that into consideration when personalizing a care plan and post adjustment recommendations.
